Quick! Someone go out there and put a blindfold on Punxatawney Phil so he doesn't see his shadow! Well, at least it will be a warm start to February. Does this mean Spring is near? We are only half way through winter, so let's hope it continues on the mild side, especially after all that record snow in the northeast and heavy rains in the northwest!
No matter what the weather, we've been busy here at the Asylum. We're adding about 8 new pairs of earrings today, along with several new gifts and a book.
There are some cute earrings added in the Fun category as well as Silver Hooks...
And a cute book:
that is great for using as a journal, or better yet, a travel keeper, or to keep ticket stubs in from the year's events and experiences! It's only 6x8" but is full of pockets and holders for maps, tickets, info, memories, etc..
And in the gifts area, you will find some candles as well as a memory box that has been added this week:
The memory box is approximately 8x8 and the candles are votive candles in glass/metal
In celebration of Groundhog's Day, there is a 20% off sale for that one day only, February 2nd! The coupon code is FEB02.
Be sure to take advantage of this sale as the next one will be in late February!
Locals: We, in conjunction with the Peninsula Brown's Backers Club, are collecting gently-used shoes for the Natasha House. We are also collecting art supplies for the children at Natasha House. You can bring your shoe or art donations to the next Brown's meeting at Bay Haven, 6500E George Washington Hwy, Yorktown, at the next monthly meeting scheduled for March 6th at 1 p.m.. The Natasha House is a support for homeless women and children so please help out!
Have a great week!
